General

What type of events is Go Local Loco, Philly Edition listing?

We're looking for those small events that make our local areas truly unique. Here's some examples: township and county fairs, farmers' market season openings, craft shows, start of pick-your-own strawberries at the local farm, small historical sites, town parades, fire company fundraisers, health screenings, music, art and ethic festivals.

Events should be open to the general public, but events may charge admittance fees.

Event Listing

Is there any fee to list an event on Go Local Loco?

Event listings are free of charge.

How is an event listed?

Submit new events at the Event Content page. For changes to a submitted event listing, send an email to the editor at GLLPhillyContent@MetaVentureTech.com and provide the event Order Confirmation id.  See the Event Info FAQ for details.

Will all submitted events be listed?

MetaVenture Technical Development reserves the right to reject any event listing.  The following are specifically prohibited.
  • Harassing or threatening content
  • Pornographic content
  • Profanity
  • Unlicensed copyrighted content or trademarks in listings
  • Illegal events
  • Pornographic events
  • Events not open to the general public

  • Ticket/Reservation Requirement and On-sale Date
  • Parent Event Name.  If the event is part of a larger event (For example, Restaurant Week is the umbrella event for dinner at a specific restaurant.), provide the parent event name.
  • Select from an existing Location or provide the following
    • Location Name (required)
    • Location Address (required)
    • Location City (required)
    • Location State (required)
    • Location Zipcode
  • Event Categories.  See the Categories FAQ.
  • Event Audience. See the Audience FAQ.
  • Event Admittance Fees.  (For example, children under 18, $2.00. Adults, $8.00)
  • Event Description
  • Your Name (required).  This info will not appear in the event listing.
  • Your Email Address (required).  This info will not appear in the event listing.
  • Note to the editor.  This info will not appear in the event listing.
